We're looking for a hands-on Network Infrastructure Engineer to keep a large, distributed network environment running smoothly and securely. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of LAN, W-LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure, and for spotting and resolving issues before they affect the business. Working across Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet technologies, you'll both maintain existing systems and help develop new network and communications projects. You'll also own the security layer, working directly with FortiGate and Barracuda systems, and keep an eye on the physical side of things — UPS units, climate control, and passive infrastructure in the server rooms. Solid documentation is part of the job: projects, inventory, and licensing all need to stay current and easy to follow. This is a good fit for someone who's comfortable owning infrastructure end to end, from routing protocols to rack-level monitoring.

About the project: The organization is a large, international company with an extensive network of physical locations, all connected through a centrally managed communications infrastructure. Keeping that network reliable, secure, and well-documented is critical to daily operations across every site. The IT infrastructure team is responsible for the full stack of network and communications technology — from core switching and routing to firewalls, VPN connectivity, and site-level monitoring. The environment is built primarily on Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet technologies, with monitoring tools used to track the health of network-communication devices in real time. Beyond pure networking, the team also oversees passive infrastructure and environmental systems in server rooms, including UPS and climate control. It's an environment where consistency, proactive monitoring, and clear documentation matter as much as technical troubleshooting.
You have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the same or a similar role
Experience with LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and SD-WAN technologies
Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet technologies
Familiarity with transport communication technologies (L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS)
Nice to have: experience with passive network infrastructure, UPS systems, and climate control in server rooms
Nice to have: experience with Cisco VoIP, Zscaler, Ekahau, and the ability to write Python scripts
Excellent command of English
Category B driving license
What to do:
Administer LAN, W-LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructure
